Workday strategic sourcing
APA has introduced a new cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning solution called Workday.
What is WSS?
Workday Strategic Sourcing (WSS) is a procurement platform that helps to streamline APA’s source-to-contract process.
How will WSS be used?
Since 2023, APA uses Workday Strategic Sourcing for sourcing events and contract renewals.
Why does APA use WSS?
APA introduced Workday, a new cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, in 2024. Workday helps to improve the way we do business with you, our suppliers.
As part of introducing Workday, we made some changes to the way we manage our contracts and sourcing portfolio.
What does this mean for suppliers?
If your business is invited to participate in a WSS sourcing event, you will receive an email from Workday which contains a link to the WSS portal and instructions about how to access and use WSS to participate in the event, they can also be found in the quick reference guides.
Will current suppliers need to re-register in WSS?
Only suppliers who are invited to participate in specific RFXs will need to register in WSS.
These suppliers will receive instructions about how to access and use WSS to respond to an RFX event. There will also be Quick Reference Guides and other support available to help our suppliers get started.
Is there any changes to the way supplier invoices are processed?
No. There are no changes to the way supplier invoices are currently processed by APA.

Unless there is overriding contract T&Cs with APA, provision of all goods and services will be in accordance with our Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
All suppliers participating in a sourcing event with APA, will be required to accept the conditions of participation prior to participating in the event.
